At My Voice Matters, our mission is to ensure that no SEN child (suspected or diagnosed) and their family is ever left out of education. We believe that education is an entitlement for all and the key to success, is child and parental voice. We strive to ensure that all parents are a part of their child's learning journey by ensuring they are heard as loudly as other professionals.
We take a personalized approach to education, tailoring our services to meet the unique needs of each student and their families.

We speak to parents and, where applicable, the child, and find out the current barriers to education.
We write letters, attend meetings and support schools to remove these barriers and change outcomes for the child.
We fight for changes in SEND and other educational legislation.
We also offer educational assessments to provide parents with further information of where their child is currently performing.

Creator of My Voice Matters, Ruth Cierniak, realised how much of a battle parents of suspected and diagnosed SEND children were facing in education and in other professional services when trying to get help for her own son.
She was able to both fight for a diagnosis and proper support by using her own knowledge of the school system, from being a former teacher, and in her own understanding of neurodivergence from having ADHD herself and after working with many families on a one-to-one basis.
Never again should a parent face this battle alone.
They shouldn't have to battle to begin with.
